About the Set

A large and enchantingly detailed building set of SpongeBob's house, just like in the famous animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. This upbeat, colorful model will delight every Bikini Bottom fan. The house's platform features a built-in mechanical gear system—simply turn the rock on the side, and the pineapple will slowly rotate. Everything is packed in a high-quality, beautiful box with a full-color sleeve. This model is the flagship of the Area X line—not to be confused with smaller, cheaper sets that lack this level of detail.

Exterior Details

The house itself features opening entrance doors and porthole windows. Surrounding the pineapple is a sandy baseplate with many details, including a directional light-up sign (formerly seen at the Krusty Krab), a bubble stand, coral pieces, and two stinging jellyfish from Jellyfish Fields. On top of the house sits the green leafy crown where SpongeBob's pet snail, Gary, is hidden. The entire house can be fully opened on its central hinge for easy access to the incredibly detailed rooms inside.

Interior Details

The ground floor houses a gym featuring the famous barbell (with the "bunny" weight on the left and the "teddy bear" on the right), a bathroom, and a living room with a TV. The first floor contains a library filled with colorful books and SpongeBob's bedroom with its signature patterned bedspread. Every room is packed with tiny details like a burger spatula, salt shaker, flowers, a mug, Patrick wallpaper, Gary’s bowl, and much, much more.

Lighting

The package includes two lighting modules. The first consists of a built-in rechargeable battery and five transparent bricks with internal LEDs to softly illuminate the house's interior. The second module, powered by 3x AG13 button batteries, lights up the directional arrow in front of the house.

Once assembled, the house measures 40 cm in length, 33.5 cm in width, and 36 cm in height. When fully opened, the house expands to 67.5 cm in length.
